Who Are We...?

The congregation of the Gower Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) has stood and served as one of the witnesses to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the Gower, Missouri community for over 151 years. We are indeed proud of this long heritage.

We are not a huge church and average around 125 in worship on Sunday. Our active congregation is make up of all ages blessed with a friendly nature that enjoys laughter and fellowship with one another.

As a church we are called to be the people of God on mission: gathered to worship and learn; scattered to all be ministers, serving Christ in our various walks of life.

We trust that you will find within our congregation the warmth of Christian fellowship, inspiration from our worshipping, and the peace one experiences from an awareness of God's presence.

Where are we located...?

Highway 169 runs north and south through Gower, MO. As you approach Gower from Kansas City on highway 169, the church is located directly behind the school which is on 169 highway. From St. Joseph, the school is located on the right directly behind the school.
